These guidelines help keep guests safe, protect the equipment and make sure delivery, pickup and return go smoothly for everyone.

How Renting Works

We keep the reservation process straightforward so you know exactly what happens next.

Send an Inquiry

Tell us your event date, city, venue and which rentals you are interested in.

Confirm Availability

We will confirm equipment availability, pickup or delivery options and your total rental price.

Reserve Your Date

Sign the rental agreement and pay the 10% non-refundable reservation retainer.

Pay the Balance

The remaining rental balance and applicable travel fees are due 15 days before your event.

Enjoy the Fun

Pick up your equipment or meet us for delivery, then enjoy your event while following the provided safety instructions.

Payment information

Reserving Your Rental

A few simple payment requirements help us reserve your equipment and protect it throughout the rental period.

Reservation Retainer

A signed rental agreement and a 10% non-refundable reservation retainer are required to reserve equipment and secure your date.

Final Payment

The remaining rental balance and any applicable travel charges must be paid no later than 15 days before the event.

What You Need to Know

A little preparation helps delivery, setup, pickup and return go much more smoothly.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Rentals may be picked up by the customer or delivered by ETX Big Fun when delivery is available.
  • Customer pickup rentals are generally picked up from and returned to Fly By Storage, 2645 TX-322, Longview, TX 75603.
  • Customer pickup clients are responsible for safe transportation and a vehicle large enough for the equipment.
  • Delivered equipment must remain accessible and ready at the agreed pickup time.
  • Late returns, inaccessible equipment, excessive waiting or additional service attempts may result in additional charges.

Setup Area

  • Provide a level and appropriate setup surface.
  • Allow adequate space and overhead clearance.
  • Keep the area clear of fences, trees, structures and utilities.
  • Provide clear and unobstructed access to the setup location.
  • Secure pets away from the delivery, setup, operating and pickup areas.
  • Unsafe or unsuitable site conditions may prevent equipment from being installed.

Underground Utilities

  • Tell us about underground electrical lines, water lines, sewer lines and septic systems.
  • Identify irrigation systems, drainage systems and invisible pet fencing before setup.
  • The customer is responsible for identifying underground systems before stakes or anchors are installed.
  • Venue, park, HOA and property approvals are the customer's responsibility.

Electrical Power

  • Reliable electrical service must be available when required.
  • Equipment must be connected to an appropriate grounded outlet.
  • Tripped breakers, power outages and inadequate venue service are outside ETX Big Fun's control.
  • Generators provided by ETX Big Fun may not be moved, refueled, modified or disconnected by the customer.
Safety always comes first

Weather Policy

East Texas weather has a personality of its own. We continuously prioritize guest safety and may delay, suspend or stop equipment use whenever conditions become unsafe.

Once equipment has been delivered and set up, weather does not automatically qualify the rental for a refund, extension or additional rental time.

Stop Equipment Use During:

  • Lightning or thunderstorms
  • Heavy rain or severe weather
  • Standing water or unsafe wet conditions
  • Sustained winds or gusts above manufacturer limits or 15 mph, whichever is lower
  • Any condition ETX Big Fun determines is unsafe
Rental-specific guidelines

Rules by Rental Type

Different rental items have slightly different requirements. These are the most important ones to remember.

Inflatables

Adult supervision is required throughout the rental period. Participants must follow the provided operating rules.

  • No shoes, food, drinks or gum on inflatables
  • No rough play, wrestling, flips or climbing on walls
  • Only participants of similar size should play together
  • Remove phones, keys, jewelry and sharp objects
  • Dry inflatables may never be used with water
  • Stop use immediately during unsafe weather

Concessions

Concession equipment must be operated only according to the instructions provided with the rental.

  • Keep machines dry and protected from rain
  • Use caution around heated or moving components
  • Adult operation and supervision are recommended
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair a machine
  • Customer provides bagged ice for sno cone rentals
  • Return machines reasonably clean and complete

Yard Games

Yard games should be used on a safe, level playing area with enough clearance for players and spectators.

  • Adult supervision is required for children
  • Use each game only as intended
  • Keep pieces and accessories together
  • Do not leave equipment exposed to severe weather
  • Report damaged or missing pieces immediately
  • Return every component included with the rental

Equipment Care & Returns

Return It Clean, Complete & On Time

The customer is responsible for the equipment from the moment it is delivered or picked up until ETX Big Fun has physically inspected and accepted its return.

Please protect rentals from theft, vandalism, weather exposure, unauthorized relocation and misuse.

Additional charges may apply for damage, excessive cleaning, missing pieces, late return or recovery expenses.

If something breaks, malfunctions or goes missing, stop using the item and contact us right away.

Rental Questions

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. Delivery may be available based on the rental package, event location and schedule. Travel or delivery charges may apply.

Can I pick up my rental?

Many rentals are available for customer pickup. You must use a vehicle capable of safely transporting the equipment and return every item at the agreed time and location.

Is the $250 security deposit refundable?

Yes. The $250 security deposit for inflatable and concession rentals is refundable after the equipment has been inspected, provided it is returned clean, complete, on time and without damage.

What if it rains?

Equipment may not be used in unsafe weather. Please contact us as early as possible about weather concerns. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

Who supervises the equipment?

The customer is responsible for participant supervision. An adult age 18 or older must remain present throughout the rental period.

What happens if equipment is damaged?

Contact us immediately and stop using the affected item. Customers may be responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized relocation or failure to follow instructions.

Can equipment be moved after setup?

No. Delivered equipment may not be relocated without prior written approval from ETX Big Fun.

Can someone else pick up the rental?

Contact us beforehand if another adult will pick up or return equipment. Identification or additional authorization may be required before equipment is released.
